ARTICHOKE BREAD | |
1 lb. French bread (not sourdough) 1 stick butter 6 cloves garlic or garlic powder 2 tbsp. sesame seeds 1 1/2 c. sour cream 2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp. lemon pepper and parsley 1 (14 oz.) can artichokes, drained & quartered 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese Cut bread lengthwise and remove bread in center, leaving only the shell. Melt butter, saute garlic and sesame seeds. Add bread pieces and stir until butter is absorbed and pieces are well coated. In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, Parmesan and Monterey Jack cheeses, artichoke pieces, parsley and lemon pepper. Combine mixture into shells and top with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
