PICKLE RELISH 
1 gallon chopped fine cucumbers, peeled
1 qt. chopped onions

Add 1/4 cup salt and let stand for 2 hours. Then drain. Add: 3 tsp. mustard seed 2 tsp. turmeric 3 tsp. celery seed 2 c. vinegar

Heat altogether. Simmer until thick. Put in jars and seal.
