SAND TARTS 
1 c. butter
5 tbsp. powdered sugar
3 c. flour
2 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugars; work flour, vanilla and nuts into creamed mixture. Form into balls; place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325-375 degrees for 30 minutes. When baked roll in additional powdered sugar while hot.
