MINT BROWNIES 
2 pkg. brownie mix (cheap stuff, i.e. Lady Lee)
2 eggs
2/3 c. water
1 tsp. peppermint extract
1 c. chopped almonds; optional

Mix with spoon and spread in greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; cool 25 minutes.

Blend 6 tablespoons soft butter, 2 tablespoons milk, 2 teaspoons peppermint extract, 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Add green food coloring if desired. Add a few drops of milk if needed. Spread on cooled brownies. Chill 5 minutes.

Melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, 4 1/2 tablespoons butter. Brush over chilled brownies, cool several hours.

Let set out at room temperature before cutting.
