1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. chocolate chips

(Layer ingredients starting at bottom of jar and working to top.)

Mix 1 egg, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1 stick softened butter with contents of jar. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°F.
