HAM LOAF 
1 1/2 lb. pork steak, ground
1 lb. cured ham, ground
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk
2 beaten eggs
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. mustard
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Mix together ground pork, ground ham, pepper, milk, eggs, and cracker crumbs. Place in roaster or shallow dish. Bake 2 hours in moderate 350 degree oven. Oven baste often with following sauce:

SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. mustard
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Combine ingredients, cook slowly until a thick sauce is formed. Serves 8-10.
