BARBECUED SOUTHWEST SHRIMP | |
1 lb. shrimp, peeled & deveined (about 16 to 18 per lb.) 3/4 c. catsup 2/3 c. picante sauce (mild or hot) 3 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar 1 tsp. lemon juice Mix ingredients and marinate shrimp in sauce 2 to 3 hours or overnight. Thread shrimp onto skewers. Grill or broil 5 to 8 minutes, turning and basting occasionally with the marinade. Boil remaining sauce to serve over cooked hot rice. |
