PECAN TARTLETS 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. flour
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
Coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine the cream cheese, flour and 1/2 cup butter to make a dough. Taking about a teaspoon of dough at a time, press into the tiniest muffin molds.

Combine the egg, 1 tablespoon butter, brown sugar, vanilla and salt; fill each shell with a teaspoonful or so of the filling. Sprinkle the tops with pecans. Bake 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
