BEEF STEW | |
2 lb. lean stew beef 4 tbsp. butter 1 pkg. Spanish seasoning mix 4 med.-lg. potatoes (cut in 1" cubes) 4 c. water 1 tbsp. water Vegetables per individuals taste, 1 c. per veg. or 2 c. mixed veg. 1 tbsp. seasoning salt 1 tsp. parsley flakes Cut beef into 1 inch cubes. Using a medium setting melt butter in a large stew pot. Once melted add beef until browned on all sides. Add water and seasoning packet. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add potatoes, vegetables and seasonings. Simmer on low heat until broth thickens, stirring consistently. Note: More water can be added 1/2 cup per 1 cup vegetable. |
