CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
Miniature marshmallows
Pecan halves

Sift flour, soda, and cocoa. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, and milk. Beat well. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Beat well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes. Remove and press marshmallows into center of cookie.

Return to oven and bake 2 minutes. Then press 1/2 pecan on top of marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees. Cool. Then frost with chocolate frosting.
