1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. quick cook oatmeal, dry
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, butter, peanut butter and milk in a saucepan. Boil 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and dry oatmeal. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper. You can add 4 teaspoons baking cocoa if desired.
