NEW ORLEANS BREAD PUDDING | |
1 loaf French bread 6 eggs 2 c. sugar 1 qt. milk (homogenized) 1 can evaporated milk 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 can coconut 1 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. raisins (optional) 1 sm. can crushed pineapple Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat eggs and sugar. Add evaporated milk and 1 quart homogenized milk. Beat well. Add crumbled bread. Let soak for 1 hour. Add other ingredients, putting butter on top (sliced). Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F. |
