1 lb. ground chuck, ground fine
1 onion, chopped fine
1 tbsp. oil
1 sm. can chili powder
1/4 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. sage
1 1/4 tsp. allspice
1 1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 1/4 tsp. red cayenne pepper
1 pkg. McCormick's hot chili seasoning mix
4 c. hot water
1/3 c. mustard (optional)
1/3 c. catsup (optional)

Brown ground chuck in oil, place in crock pot and add other ingredients. Let cook at least 2 hours.
