BUTTER NUT BALLS 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. finely chopped pecans
Powdered sugar

Cut butter and flour together until pea size crumbs or smaller. Cut in sugar and vanilla. Add nuts and mix by hand. Form into 1 inch balls. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 20 to 25 minutes at 325 degrees. (Do not burn bottom of cookies.) Roll in powdered sugar while partly cooled.
