2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal, ground to fine powder in blender or processor
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (8 oz.) milk chocolate bar, grated
3 c. chopped nuts
2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
24 oz. chocolate chips

Cream butter with white and brown sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chocolate chips, candy and nuts. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 6 minutes in 375 degree oven. Recipe can be halved. Yields 100-200 cookies.
