BLACK BOTTOM CUP CAKES 
CAKE:

1 2/3 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Place ingredients in bowl and mix all at once until smooth. Fill cup cake papers 1/2 full. Add tablespoon cheese mixture to each; top with nuts if desired. Bake 30-35 minutes. Makes about 20-21.

CHEESE FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream all ingredients except chocolate chips until smooth. Stir in chips; set aside until batter mixed.
