MAPLE EGG NOG | |
1 (32 oz.) can Borden egg nog (chilled) 1/2 c. Cary's Vermont maple orchards or MacDonald's Pure maple syrup In large pitcher, combine ingredients. Chill. Stir before serving. Garnish with nutmeg if desired. Refrigerate leftovers. To make egg nog freeze mold: whole fresh cranberries red and green maraschino cherries whole nuts gum drops or hard candy dairy egg nog Decorate bottom of individual salad molds with cranberries, cherries, nuts, and/or candies. Carefully pour a small amount of egg nog into mold. Freeze until firm. Pour in enough egg nog to fill mold. Freeze several hours or overnight. When ready to use, dip mold into hot water and unmold. Use small egg nog floats to keep a punch bowl of egg nog chilled without diluting its flavor. May also be prepared in a 4 1/2 cup ring mold. |
