IRISH SODA BREAD 
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. buttermilk or soured milk

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix together first 5 ingredients. Cut in butter. Add milk to make a soft dough. Knead lightly on floured board for 2 minutes. Shape into a round loaf. Place on greased cookie sheet, cut an `X' across the top.

Bake for 25 minutes.
