6 links hot or sweet Italian sausage (cut into pieces) 2 whole lg. chicken breasts (boned and sliced into several pieces) 1 c. chicken stock 2 peppers, sliced (combination of colors) 1 c. heavy cream Brown sausage and chicken in a small amount of butter or oil until done. Remove from pan. In same pan, add chicken stock and sliced peppers and simmer until done, but still crisp. Add sausage and chicken and pour in heavy cream and stir until well blended and hot. Serve with a rice pilaf. |
