TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
Cake:

2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Icing:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box 10x powdered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans

Blend first 3 ingredients for cake over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Then add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 9 x 16 x 1 1/2 jelly roll pan (large cookie sheet with sides).

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, turning pan once during cooking. When cool, frost.

Icing: Blend the first 3 ingredients over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Add the vanilla, powdered sugar and pecans.
