GRANDMA'S IRISH STEW | |
1 1/2 lbs. stew beef, lightly browned 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 lg. parsnips, chopped 2 lg. carrots, chopped 1 can peas 1/4 c. tapioca 3 or 4 potatoes 1 c. cold water Pepper & salt to taste Bake in a covered dish at 300 degrees for 4 to 5 hours. To thicken, add 2 to 3 tablespoons flour. |
