TURKEY PATTIES ORIENTAL 
1 pkg. (1 1/4 lbs.) ground turkey
1/3 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. cooking oil
Oriental Sauce (see below)
2 stalks celery, cut in 1/4" pieces
1 med. green pepper, cut in 3/4" pieces
2 med. tomatoes, cut in 1/8ths
1 med. onion, cut in thin rings

Mix first 4 ingredients. Form into 4-6 patties, each about 3/4 inch thick. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute burgers 3 minutes each side, until brown. Mix Oriental Sauce and pour over burgers; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; add celery, onion and peppers.

Simmer, covered, 6-10 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Add tomatoes; simmer 3-4 minutes, until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.

ORIENTAL SAUCE:

Mix 1 cup chicken broth, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 teaspoons cornstarch (flour may be used), 1 teaspoon EACH sugar and vinegar, and dash of pepper in a small bowl.

Serve with rice. Fresh broccoli can be added as vegetable. Makes 4-5 servings.
