PINEAPPLE ICEBOX CAKE 
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. broken pieces (nuts)
1 (16 oz.) vanilla wafers, finely crushed

Melt butter and add sugar and beaten yolks; blend well. Add pineapples, nuts and vanilla. Line a 5x10 inch dish (2 or 3 round casserole) with crushed vanilla wafers about 1 inch thick. Pour over this 1/2 the mixture. Add another layer of wafers and another layer of the mixture. Cover the top with crumbs. This may be refrigerated or frozen. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. (Rich!)
