J'S SOURDOUGH BISCUITS 
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sourdough starter

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in the butter. Stir in the starter. Turn out onto lightly floured surface. Knead lightly. Roll to 1/2 inch thick and cut. Place on buttered baking pan. Let rise for 30-45 minutes. Cook in 450 degree Dutch Oven. (Watch the heat closely as these burn easy.)

Makes 18-24 biscuits.
