CABBAGE SALAD 
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 head cabbage
1 pkg. Ramen Oriental noodles (chicken)
1/2 c. almonds, sliced
4 green onions, diced

DRESSING:

1 tsp. salt or season all
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 pkg. chicken flavoring from noodles

Toast seeds and almonds until light brown at 325 degrees about 15 minutes. Mix shredded cabbage, onions, seeds and almonds. Add dressing and chill 2-3 hours or overnight. Add noodles, broken into small pieces shortly before serving to prevent them from becoming soggy. This makes several servings and is great for a pot-luck dinner.
