OVEN STEW 
3 lbs. lean stew meat
1 onion, sliced
4 lg. potatoes, sliced
1 turnip, sliced
3 c. carrots, sliced
2 c. celery, sliced

Layer meat and vegetables in Dutch oven.

1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. tapioca
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Sprinkle over meat and vegetables.

1 can beef broth bouillon
1 can golden mushroom soup
Catsup (opt.)

Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. Do not stir or remove cover during cooking. Stir well before serving.
