PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
1 baked pie shell
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
2/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks
3 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. sugar

Cream peanut butter and powdered sugar together; set aside. Stir next 8 ingredients together. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Put 2/3 of peanut butter mixture in bottom of baked pie shell. Pour custard over this. Use remainder of peanut butter mixture over top.

Make a meringue of egg white, cream of tartar and 1/4 cup sugar. Spread on custard and sprinkle with remaining peanut butter mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until meringue is brown.
