SALAD OR DESSERT TOPPING 
6 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. juice from fruit
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream or topping

Combine sugar, cornstarch, egg and juice. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in butter and lemon juice. Cool. Fold in whipped cream or topping.
