REAL BRAN MUFFINS | |
2 1/2 c. bran 2 c. wheat germ (or bran) 1 c. sesame seeds 1 c. oil 1 c. honey 1/2 c. molasses 5 c. whole wheat flour 5 tsp. baking soda 2 c. brown sugar 4 eggs 1 qt. buttermilk 2 c. boiling water Mix dry ingredients and set aside. Mix liquid ingredients. Combine liquid and dry ingredients. Mix well. Add raisins, nuts or sunflower seed and grated orange peel. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Unused batter may be refrigerated up to 30 days. |
