HAM AND POTATO CASSEROLE | |
4 c. sliced & peeled potatoes (about 5 potatoes) 1 1/2 c. cubed fully cooked ham 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup or cheddar cheese soup 1/2 c. shredded sharp American cheese (2 oz.) 1/4 c. milk 1 tbsp. minced onion 3/4 c. bread crumbs from 1 to 2 slices bread 1/2 c. shredded sharp American cheese (2 oz.) 1 tbsp. butter, melted Lay the potatoes in a 2-quart casserole. Stir together cubed ham, soup, 1/2 cup cheese, milk and onion. Combine bread crumbs, melted butter and 1/2 cup cheese. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees until heated through, about 45 minutes. Garnish with parsley, if desired. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
