CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
CHICKEN:

4 skinless chicken breasts
1 c. celery, cut in 3 inch pieces
1 c. carrots, cut in 3 inch pieces
1 med. onion, sliced
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. water

Place cleaned chicken pieces in greased baking pan. Bake at 500 degrees for about 15 minutes. Place celery, carrots and onions around chicken, salt and pepper. Add 1/2 cup water to bottom of pan. Cover tightly with foil, bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

DUMPLINGS:

5 eggs, or three whole and three egg whites
1 c. water
2 c. flour
Salt and pepper

In a mixing bowl, add eggs, salt and pepper. Beat well, add flour, blend until dough is a little sticky. Boil water in a pan, take spoonful of dough, drop in the boiling water, repeat until all dough is used, boil for 5 minutes. Drain dumplings in strainer. Add to the chicken, baste with juice from the bottom of the pan, cover with foil for about 10 minutes, serve.
