PECAN CHEWIES 
2 sticks butter (butter)
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs well beaten
2 c. self rising flour
1 c. chopped pecan
2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Melt butter in large pan; add sugars and blend well. Add beaten eggs. Stir well. Add flour and stir until no lumps. Add pecans and vanilla. Batter is real thick. Pour into greased and floured pan. Cook into greased and floured pan. Cook about 25 to 30 minutes. (Do not over cook, will not look done when taken out). Do not use mixer. Cut into squares while still hot.
