1 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
2 tsp. maple flavoring (or more)
1 1/2 c. white corn syrup

Boil water in medium saucepan. Add sugar and stir over heat only until dissolved. Add dash of salt and maple flavoring. Stir in corn syrup and refrigerate.
