| MARTHA'S CUT OUT SUGAR COOKIES | |

2 c. sugar + 1 c. buttermilk 2 c. Crisco 2 eggs Cream above ingredients. 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. lemon flavoring 1 tsp. vanilla 5 c. flour Mix well. Place 1 cup flour on board smooth. Roll out cookie to 1/2 inch thick and cut like biscuits. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overcook. | |
