PECAN PIE WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS 
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. chocolate chips
1 (9") pie shell

Blend flour and sugar. Combine with well beaten eggs. Add corn syrup, nuts, chips, and vanilla. Pour into shallow 9" pie plate lined with pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Top with whipped cream, or serve with ice cream. Chips may be eliminated. Pecans may be replaced with walnuts. Serves 8 to 10.
