SEASONED RICE CASSEROLE 
2 c. raw rice
1/2 lb. melted butter
1 (12 oz.) can mushrooms
5 scallions
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. thyme
2 cans beef consomme
2 1/2 c. water

Put all ingredients in 2 1/2 quart casserole. Bake 1 hour at 400 degrees. Cover for 50 minutes, then uncover for last 10 minutes.
