MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 c. yellow corn meal
1 c. sweet milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, well beaten
1 #303 can cream style corn
1/2 c. bacon drippings

Mix together and set aside. Brown 1 pound hamburger meat or ground chuck; drain well. 1/2 lb. yellow cheese, grated 1 can green chilies

Grease large iron skillet, heat in hot oven. Pour in 1/2 batter. Add 1/2 cheese. Add meat. Add onions. Add chopped chilies. Add remaining batter and cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
