COLD BROCCOLI SALAD 
1 head fresh broccoli
Fresh lemon juice
Corn oil
Garlic powder or fresh garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash broccoli and cut into bite size pieces. Steam broccoli until tender, but crisp. Drain well. Dress with fresh squeezed lemon juice, small amount of corn oil, garlic powder or fresh garlic. Cut up broccoli. Salad will sit for a while in refrigerator. (It's your choice.) Salt and black pepper to taste. Refrigerate.

Cook broccoli salad in a good salad to serve with a barbecue menu. It can be made ahead of time and seems to taste better after it sits in the refrigerator for a while.
