MACARONI & CHEESE | |
1 c. macaroni, cooked and drained 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese 2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 c. milk 1/8 tsp. pepper Put the cooked and drained macaroni in a buttered dish. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the flour, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth. Add the milk slowly, stirring until sauce thickens. Cut cheese in cubes and add to sauce. Pour the cheese sauce over the macaroni. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings. |
