4 c. sifted flour
1 c. butter
4 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Unbeaten egg whites

Mix flour and butter together. Beat egg yolks and add sugar. Combine rest of ingredients and mix all together well. Take a teaspoon of batter, roll in hands about 5" long and the size of your little finger. Quickly twist dough into knot, dip into unbeaten egg whites, then sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
