BAR-B-QUE SPARERIBS 
2 lg. strips ribs
1 chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. catsup
2 c. water
1/4 c. brown sugar

Cut ribs, place meaty side up in shallow pan; sprinkle with onion. Bake at 450 degrees uncovered 45 minutes. Mix sauce ingredients and bring to boil. Pour over ribs after browning, reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue roasting at least 3 more hours. Do not cover, baste and turn ribs every 30 to 40 minutes.
