CHINESE SLAW 
3 lb. cabbage, chopped
1 lg. onion
4-5 green peppers, chopped
1 c. cider vinegar (no other)
1 c. salad oil
1 c. sugar

In saucepan add vinegar, salad oil and sugar. Bring to a boil. Watch closely. Do not let it crystalize. Just thicken (melted). Then pour over cabbage mixture. Mix well. Add celery seed (refrigerate 24 hours). Mix now and then in airtight container will keep for a month.
