CHICKEN AND CRESCENT ALMONDINE 
3 c. cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained & sliced
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
2/3 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. sour cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent rolls
2/3 c. shredded cheese
1/2 c. sliced almonds
2-4 tbsp. butter, melted

In a large pan combine first 8 ingredients. Cook over medium heat until hot and bubbling. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch dish. Separate crescent roll dough and place over hot chicken mixture. Combine remaining ingredients and spread over dough. Bake 20-25 minutes in preheated oven at 375 degrees until crust is deep golden brown.
