LOW CALORIE SOUR CREAM
SUBSTITUTE
 
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 env. plain gelatin
1 c. cottage cheese
1/4 c. cold water

Soften gelatin in the water. Heat buttermilk and softened gelatin in top of a double boiler until gelatin is dissolved. Cool slightly, add cottage cheese and process all in a blender until smooth. Refrigerate.
