BANANA SPLIT TORTE 
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. pecans
2 eggs
2 c. powdered sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
4 lg. bananas
9 oz. carton Cool Whip
6 oz. can drained crushed pineapple

Mix flour, butter and 1/2 cup pecans until crumbly and spread into 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Beat remaining ingredients not less than 15 minutes. Put on crust. After the filling has been put in the crust, slice 4 large bananas on top of the filling. Pour 1 (6 oz.) can drained crushed pineapple on top of the bananas. Put 1 (9 oz.) carton of Cool Whip on top. Add cherries, nuts, chocolate and strawberries on top, if desired. Refrigerate overnight.
