JAPANESE BEEF 
8 oz. beef, sliced thinly
Oil to fry
1 lg. onion, chopped
4 or 5 green onions, chopped
4 oz. noodles (use Ito-konnyaku, from Japanese food store)
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. sugar
4 tbsp. sake (Japanese wine)

Fry beef slices and chopped round onion, in about 2 tablespoons oil. Add wine, sugar and soy sauce and cook for about 5 minutes. Add green onions and noodles.

Cook for 5 to 10 minutes until vegetables are tender and serve over hot, cooked rice. This recipe will make 2 servings.
