EASY TIME HOLIDAY SQUARES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. flour
4 eggs
1 can cherry pie filling

Gradually add sugar to butter in large mixer bowl, creaming on medium speed until light and fluffy. At medium speed, add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. At low speed add flour and lemon juice. Pour batter in greased jelly roll pan. Mark off 20 squares and drop 1 heaping teaspoon of pie filling into each square. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
