SLUSH PUNCH | |
2 c. white sugar 4 tea bags 1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed 1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade, thawed 2 c. vodka 2 lg. bottles Vernors ginger ale (cold) 7 c. boiling water 2 c. boiling water Make 2 days ahead. Double for 12 or more. Add sugar to 7 cups boiling water; let cool. Add tea bags to 2 cups boiling water; let cool. Mix sugar water with orange juice and lemonade. Add vodka and tea. Pour into plastic container with wide mouth. Freeze 2 days ahead. Take out 1/2 to 1 hour before serving. Fill glasses half full, then finish filling up with the cold Vernors. Serve with a straw. Serves 6. |
