1 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
3 c. applesauce
1 1/2 c. nuts
1 1/2 c. raisins

Cream Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs and spices; mix well. In separate bowl place nuts and raisins in and sprinkle with small amount of flour and coat. Add remaining soda and flour with applesauce to mixture; mix well. Then add coated nuts and raisins; mix well. Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
