1 pkg. hot dogs, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
2 cans Pork & Beans
3/4 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1/4 cup water
1/2 to 3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. mustard

Combine in 12x8x2-inch baking dish and cover with following batter.

BATTER:

3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup cornmeal

Sift all together and add:

1 slightly beaten egg
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
1/3 cup finely chopped onion

Mix well and spread batter over bean mixture. Bake at 400°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
